Trends and Outlook for e-Commerce Logistics in Hong Kong and Greater Bay Area organized by the Policy Research Institute of Global Supply Chain, HSUHK and co-organized by The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) – Logistics and Transportation Division and The Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport in Hong Kong (CILTHK), was held on 10 Feb 2022.

 

The webinar attracted over 280 participants, including HSUHK students, staff and industry practitioners.

 

Mr. Thomas Yu, Senior Director of Global Hub Operations and Product Development, Cainiao Network has been invited as the guest speaker to share his view on how Alibaba’s Logistics Arm “Cainiao Network” in supporting eCommerce Development.

Mr. John Yu, Head of eCommerce (South China & HK) of Crane Worldwide Logistics has also been invited as the guest speaker to share a topic of Emerging trends of e-commerce logistics in the Greater Bay Area.

Followed by a panel discussion, Dr. Eugene Wong, Associate Professor of the HSUHK and Mr. Alan Lo, Lecturer of the HSUHK discussed several important topics regarding e-Commerce Logistics in Hong Kong and Greater Bay Area with Mr. Thomas Yu and Mr. John Yu. The discussion provides a lot of insights to the audiences. The participants actively raised questions in the Q&A session. A group photo has been taken at the end of the session.
