Hong Kong is one of the busiest international container ports in the world. With the geographical advantage, Hong Kong Container Terminal serves as a major transport hub in Asia, providing quality services to the container shipping industry.

A terminal visit to China Merchants Container Services Ltd. and Modern Terminals Ltd. was held on 29 November 2023 (Wed). 18 students from the MSc in Global Supply Chain Management Programme attended the visit. Through the terminal visit and sharing by the company representatives, students gained an in-depth understanding of container handling and logistics services. In addition, students also had the opportunity to have a close look at the Hong Kong Container Terminal, to learn more about its geographical advantages and infrastructures, which further enhancing students’ understanding of the supply chain and logistics industry.
