The emerging cutting-edge technologies and innovations in recent years have been propelling the smart city development, as well as the evolution of digital economy. The COVID-19 pandemic had further accelerated digital economic growth as remote work, online shopping, and telehealth services have become essential to our daily life.

55 MSc-GSCM students had the opportunity to attend the LSCM Logistics Summit 2024, organized by the Logistics and Supply Chain MultiTech R&D Centre, on 10 Oct 2024 (Thur).  The summit featured insightful discussions from esteemed speakers, who explored recent technological advancements that are fostering smart city development and propelling the digital economy. Government officials, industry experts, business leaders, and academic representatives gathered to examine the opportunities and challenges that digitalization presents. Students gained a deeper understanding of the latest technology and future developments in the supply chain and logistics industry.
