Speaker: Ms. Joanna Li, Group Director Strategic Partnerships APAC, Volga-Dnepr Group
Ms Joanna Li is currently the Group Director of Strategic Partnerships for APAC region of Volga-Dnepr Group, a privately owned Russian aviation conglomerate with its headquarter in Moscow. Volga Dnepr Group owns three airlines including Volga Dnepr Airlines, AirBridgeCargo Airlines and Atran Airlines, operating a fleet of over 40 freighters. It is the largest air cargo carrier and the world leader in the unique, oversize and heavy cargo market. It is also the world’s largest Boeing freighter operator. Ms Li is responsible for the development of long-term strategic partnerships in APAC with a focus in China, aiming to strengthen the Group’s presence and foothold in the region. Before that, she was the Vice President and Regional Director APAC of AirBridgeCargo Airlines managing the full spectrum of the carrier’s business in Asia. Prior to joining the airline industry, Ms. Li had also held various management positions in HACTL, HACIS and CPCS, and has over 25 years of extensive experience in airline, airfreight and air cargo terminal operations. Ms. Li holds a BBA in the Chinese University of Hong Kong and an MBA in the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology.
